PEA RIDGE — Blackhawk senior cheerleaders brought home a first place trophy from the Regional Competition Saturday, Nov. 20, at Har-Ber High School. They won their division. Brooke Johnson placed third in individual jumps. The stunt group of Lacy King, Brittany Thomas and Joey Beauchamp placed first in individual stunt group, while Jarrod Wheeler, Kinea Sands and Claudia Contreras finished second in individual stunt. “This squad is wonderful to work with,” coach Jamie Bunting said. “They should be recognized as being competitive with squads from much larger schools.”The squad’s next competition is Monday, Dec. 6, at Gentry.
