— Vernon Banks

Vernon Banks, 86, of Washburn, Mo. died Nov. 10. He was born Aug. 11,1924.

He married Virginia Arnold on Feb. 13, 1943.

He work at the COOP Poultry plant inBentonville, and retired from Worth Arkansas Poultry of Rogers in 1986.

His life was about his family. He liked to hunt, fish, and play checkers.

He had six brothers and six sisters.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Ann Banks.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia, of the home; three children, Avin and Debbie Banks, Janice and Ronnie Jones, all of Washburn, Mo.;

one brother, Ed Banks of Washburn; one sister, Geneva Antle of Exeter, Mo.;

six grandchildren, Laurie Redman of Bentonville, Cam Banks of Washburn, Tresa and Rodney Morgan of Seligman, Jason Banks of Rogers, Sheila and Mike Shelton of Neosho, Mo., and Sherry and Jim Carpenter of Bella Vista; 18 great-grandchildren; four greatgreat-grandchildren; and several step great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13,at East Side Assembly of God with the Rev. Robert Ward officiating.

Burial was in Dent Cemetery.

Alberta Fay Cannady, 80, of Seligman, Mo., died Nov. 8, 2010, at St. John’s Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Rogers, to Christopher Columbus and Harbelle Swadley Brown.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Cecil Ray Dutton and Roy Wayne Dutton, both of Seligman; five daughters, Shirley Gene Ball, Teresa Fay Cannady, Linda Darlene Campbell and Deloris Ellen Echols, all of Seligman, Mo., and Dell Ray McCuistian of Lowell; a sister; a brother;

27 grandchildren; 72 greatgrandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

There are no services planned at this time.

Sebastian Joseph Grigg

Sebastian Joseph Grigg was born and died Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Lauren Grigg Jr. of Centerton;

three sisters, Samantha Lewis of Centerton, Shacey Grigg and Haley Grigg both of Grove, Okla.; paternal grandparents, Donna and Jerry Woods of Pea Ridge and Mark and Deborah Grigg of Rogers; and maternal grandparents, Bart Gills of Fayetteville and Vicki Gills of Bentonville.

A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Pea Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
