PEA RIDGE — Math scores for students at Pea Ridge Middle School were among the highest in the state.,

“We were awarded for being second in the region for math scores,” Sue Terry, principal, said. “It’s a team effort kindergarten through 12th grade.”

Pea Ridge Middle School scored first in the region in sixthgrade math scores and third in the region in eighth-grade math scores. The eighth-grade students scored third in the region in literacy.

The Office of Education Policy, University of Arkansas, analyzed the percent of students in each school scoring proficient and advanced on the Arkansas Benchmark Exam for all the schools in Arkansas.
