Huyck-Rhame marry

— Margaret Lynn “Meg” Rhame and Nathan James Huyck, both of Paducah, Ky., were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 11, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Paducah.

The bride is the daughter of William and Carolyn Rhame of Rogers, Ark.

The bride graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1999, John Brown University at Siloam Springs in 2003 and earned a master’s in perfusion technology at Rush University in Chicago in 2009. She is a perfusionist at Lourde’s and Western Baptist Hospitals in Paducah.

The bridegroom is the son of Bruce and Johannah Huyck of Paducah.

He graduated from Lone Oaks High School in Paducah and the University of Kentucky in 2002. He is a mechanical engineer with Electric Energy, Inc. in Jappa, Ill.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother. Attendants were Virginia Anne Rhame of Rogers, Elizabeth Nell Rhame-Moore of Bentonville and Chloe Margaret Moore of Bentonville. All wore street-length black satin dresses.

Best man was David Troutman and groomsmen were Joseph Ottway and Jason Walters.

Ushers were Jason Goodyke and Shane Douglas. Cousins of the bride Susan Wesche, Christie Wesche and Rachel Bomberger provided music for the occasion.

Sister of the groom, Rebeccah Brown, read Scripture and the bride honored the memory of her recently deceased father, Bill Rhame, with a special candle, which was lit by her mother at a reception following the ceremony at Madison Hall in Paducah with the bride’s cousin Audrey Hall presiding at the guest book.

The couple lives in Paducah.
