FROM STAFF REPORTS Lester Dover, 39, has been charged with felony arson, according to documents from the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. He was arrested Monday, Oct. 25, following an investigation by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. Tests on ashes and clothing sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab showed that the fire at 14985 Gary Fletcher Rd. in the Garfield area was intentionally set. Dover, at a family gathering Feb. 28 at a residence near Gravette, got into a physical fight with another person at the residence, then threatened to burn down the residence of Jeremiah Cotton. A few hours later, the house burned to the ground.
