VFW buddy poppies
The VFW Post 8109 will hand out poppies in honor or memory of all veterans 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at both Fred’s and Marvin’s IGA, North Curtis Avenue, and 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov.
13, at Fred’s. Donations are encouraged as proceeds will be used to assist worthy comrades, to perpetuate the memory/history of the dead and to assist their widows and orphans.
