COMMUNITY EVENTSFlu shots for veterans

Pea Ridge VFW Post 8109 will host a free flu shot clinic for interested veterans from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 8, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks will administer the flu shots. For more information, contact Vivian Hauter at 451-8274.

Cannonball 4-H meeting

The Cannonball 4-H meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at Camps Auction House. For more information, contact Calvin Isgrigg at 451-8683.

Ham and Beans Supper

The Pea Ridge High School Alumni Association will host a ham and beans supper with a pie auction 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, atthe Pea Ridge Middle School cafeteria. Dinner includes ham, beans, cornbread and cole slaw. Pie auction begins at 6 p.m. The cost per meal is $5 for adults, $2 for children 5-12, and children 4 and under free.

There will be a raffle at Arvest Bank for a Razorback chair. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. All procedes from the supper and raffle will benefit a scholarship fund for a graduating Pea Ridge High School senior.

Spaghetti dinner

GARFIELD - Northeast Benton County Volunteer Fire/EMS Department’s all-youcan-eat spaghetti feed fundraiser is set for 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov.

5, in the community room at NEBCO Station No. 1.

All-you-can-eat spaghetti, plus drink and dessert is $6 for adults, $3 for children 5-12 and free for children under 5 years of age.

All proceeds go to the general fund for NEBCO Fire/EMS.
