Kristopher Daniel Bolin

Kristopher Daniel Bolin, of Rogers, died Friday, May 21, at St. John’s Hospital inSpringfield, Mo., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born Nov. 19, 1981, in Rogers,Ark., to Dan and Scherrie Combs Bolin.

Kris was preceded in death by his brother, Ben Bolin, in 2007; his cousin, Jason Mooney, in 2006; maternal grandmother, Thelma Combs; and paternal grandparents, Pat and Winona Bolin.

Survivors include his parents; a daughter, Kalie Bolin; a brother, Dustin Bolin and his wife, Jenny; a nephew, Wesley Bolin of Rogers;

grandparents, Charles and Treva Combs of Danville;

three aunts, Patsy Mooney of Rogers, Nancy Bolin of Fayetteville and Scharlene McChristian of St. Paul; two uncles, Gary Combs of Fayetteville and Mark Combs of Rogers; and six cousins.

Kris was an avid sportsman and had a great love for nature and the outdoors.

A celebration of Kris’ life is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at First United Methodist Church in downtown Rogers.

Memorials may be made to Ozark Natural Science Center or the Boy Scouts of America.

Melba Lois Gardner

Melba Lois Gardner, 76, ofRogers, died Saturday, May 22, at her home. She was born Jan. 28, 1934, at Leflore, Okla., to Luther Jefferson Ragland and Lucy Irene Webb Ragland.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors are two sons, Randal Gardner Jr. of Springdale and Raymond Gardner and his wife, Kathy, of Lowell; one daughter, Pam Shepard of Pea Ridge;

one brother, Jimmy Ray Ragland of Rogers; two sisters, Betty Wilbanks of Monett, Mo., and Barbara Kay Mooney of Seligman;

six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Burial will be at 2 p.m.

Thursday, May 27, at Finley Cemetery, Antlers, Okla.

Gerald William Gregory

Gerald William Gregory, 54, of Biloxi, Miss., died May 17, in Biloxi. He was born Feb. 28, 1956, in California, to Warren Fred Gregory and Mary Mae Jeannotte Gregory.

He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, animals and hunting. He married Patricia Henson on Oct. 7, 2000.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Mae Gregory.

Survivors include his wife, Pat of Siloam Springs, Ark.; two sons, Seth Gregory of Rogers, Ark., and Jessie Gregory of Pea Ridge, Ark.,;

one daughter, Sarah Gregory of Rogers; his father, Warren Fred Gregory of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Sandi Johnson of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kathryn Weakland of Kansas City, Mo.

James L. McGarrah

James L. McGarrah, 70, of Rogers, died Saturday, May 22, in Rogers. He wasborn March 1, 1940, in Springdale, Ark., to Albert and Sophronia Davidson McGarrah.

He was amachinist at RTW/ Kennametal for 34 years and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1963 to 1965 where he was awarded the Rifle Marksman Medal.

Survivors include his wife, Fonda McGarrah of Rogers;

his mother, Sophronia Mc-Garrah of Springdale, Ark.;

one daughter, Malania and her husband, Brad Carter, of Garfield, Ark.; four brothers, Gerry McGarrah of Cave Springs, Ark., Charlie McGarrah of Seligman, Mo., Rodney McGarrah of Garfield, Ark., and Ricky McGarrah of Springdale, Ark.; and two sisters, Joyce Plunk of Horatio, Ark., and Donnah Breeden of Pineville, Mo.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. May 24, at the funeral home.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers with pastor Jim Moore officiating.

Interment was in the Benton County Memorial Park.

William May

William “Bill” May, 62, of Little Flock died Friday, May 21, 2010, at his home. He wasborn Feb.

20, 1948, in Sledge, Miss., to J.W. and Theo Myrtle (Haven) May.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley May of the home; two daughters, Christy Duke and her husband, Aaron, of Walker, La., and Melissa May of Denham Springs, La.; his family, Larry Sawyer and his wife, Carrie, of Rogers, Sharon Boone and her husband, Rick, of Fayetteville, Karen Sigler and her husband, Mark, of Fayetteville, Debra Lewis and her husband, Duane, of Effingham, Ill., David and Angie Boone, Bryan Boone, Duane Jr. and Heidi Lewis, Terra Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Whitney Boone, Breanna Boone, Alexis Boone and Maci Lewis; two brothers, Raymond Purdon of Springville,Tenn., and Charles Richard Gibson of Belton, Texas; and five grandchildren, Holden Duke, Hydie Duke, Hunter Duke, Rebecca Marie Sawyer and Gabriel Wayne Sawyer.

Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Services will be at 10 a.m.

Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at the Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers.

Bud Tillman

Bud Tillman, 81, of Pea Ridge died Friday, May 21, at Circle of Life at Legacy Village in Bentonville. He was born at Garfield to Sherman Tillman and Rosie Lane Tillman.

He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was employed at Emerson Electric in quality control retiring after 25 years. He enjoyed singing and playing the piano, growing flowers and gardening. He was a member of Church of Today in Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donald Eric Tillman; three brothers, Leon Tillman, Jack Tillman and Albert Charles Tillman; and two sisters, Georgia Bonita Tillman and an infant sister.

Survivors include one son, David Tillman and his wife, Debbie, of Pea Ridge;

three brothers, John Tillman and Harley Tillman both of Pineville, Mo., and Ben Tillman of Pea Ridge; and three grandchildren.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m.

Monday, May 25, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Church of Today in Rogers with pastor Brian Tidwell officiating.

Burial was at Bayless Cemetery, north of Pea Ridge.

Marcia Kay Weaver

Marcia Kay Ennis Weaver, 51, died May 16, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Mo.

She was born Sept. 13, 1958, in Monett, Mo., to Marvin and Helen Ennis.

She was employed at Wal-Mart in Cassville and was pursuing a psychology degree at Crowder College in Cassville.

Survivors include her parents; three sons, Christopher Weaver of Ottawa, Kan., Jason Weaver and wife Ainee of Bentonville, Daniel Weaver and wife Amber of Goodman, Mo.; three brothers; a sister; and one grandchild.

Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Bridgeway Assembly of God Church in Shell Knob, Mo.

Burial will take place later in Ennis Cemetery in the Mineral Springs area.

Arrangements are by White Funeral Home in Cassville.
