’Til Next Time Get ready to cast your vote

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

I’m sure you know by now that I wrote the wrong month for the Brightwater bowling night - yes, it’s May 15. I can’t imagine why I jumped a month forward, I usually run a month behind.

I don’t belong to a Tea Party yet, but I feel like we have to curb the run-away spending. When I get in a voting booth, I jump back and forth between parties like a grasshopper.

I enjoy using the library at the Adult Wellness Center and I just finished reading Sarah Palin’s biography. Of course she wrote the book and says it however she wants, but my opinion jumped up several notches. I wish that we had a chance to get to know her better before election time. I feel like the media influenced greatly in orderto sell papers.

It’s always interesting and sometimes shocking about what goes on behind the scenes. I’ve recently read Bill Clinton’s book, Harry Truman and Roosevelt, also Hillary Clinton and the new Sarah Palin. A few years ago I read Eisenhower, Carter and Lincoln.

I could never survive in politics! See you at the polls!
