Friday, April 30

8 a.m. An abandoned vehicle - 1997 Mazda truck - was reported on Montgomery Circle. It was towed and impounded.

4 p.m. A resident on Charles Street reported a license plate stolen off a trailer sometime between April 1 - 30.

Sunday, May 2

1 p.m. A resident on Ash Court reported the house broken into after discovering a broken window.The incident is under investigation.

2 p.m. A 34-year-old white female reported a possible assault while she was at work at Autumn Place.The incident is under investigation.

2:30 p.m. A resident on Spruce Street reported a criminal trespass.

2:45 p.m. A resident on Richards Street reported a dog bit a 9-year-old boy.The dog was picked up and quarantined at Pea Ridge Vet Clinic for 10 days.

Monday, May 3

9:30 p.m.While assisting a probation/ parole officer at Kings Lane apartments, arrested Jon Logan, 22, Pea Ridge, for possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.

10:15 p.m.While assisting a probation/parole officer at Kings Lane apartments, arrested Michael Lawson, 25, Seligman, Mo., for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Tuesday, May 4

9 p.m. Brandon Rice, 19, Gates Lane, north of Pea Ridge, was arrested for possession of acontrolled substance as the result of a traffic stop on Hayden Road and McNair Street.

11:30 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on Hutchison Street, arrested Saul Santoyo, 29, of Rogers, for driving on a suspended warrant out of Fayetteville and the passenger, Mallory Scheurer, 19, Stillwell, Okla., for public intoxication and minor in possession.

Wednesday, May 5

2:45 p.m. A resident on Wood Street reported a battery. An 18-year-old female reported that a 19-year-old female had come to the residence to retrieve property and struck her several times.The incident is under investigation.

Thursday, May 6

10 a.m. An official with Community First Bank reported they believed someone had deliberately wet the interior of a house on Turnery Way which is under foreclosure, thereby filling the house with mold.

11 a.m. A resident on D.J. Duvall Drive reported fraudulent use of her credit card for the past five months.

4 p.m. An employee of O’Reilly’s Automotive reported someone had broken into his truck which was parked behind the store and taken an attaché case with personal items and checks in it.The checks were later located behind the Post Office.

Tuesday,May 4

Jon Ireland Logan, 22, of 581 Kings Lane in Pea Ridge was in the Benton County Jail in connection with revocation of a suspended sentence or probation. Logan was being held Tuesday on a $2,500 bond.

Thursday, May 6

Reatha Braucht, 17060 Pickens Rd., reported the theft of lumber.

Brian Allen Phinney, 35, of 15364 U.S. Hwy. 62, Garfield, was arrested in connection with revocation of a suspended sentence or probation. Phinney was being held with no bond set.

Friday, May 7

Jeffery Ely Hawk, of 15805 N.

Wimpy Jones Rd., Garfield, was arrested in connection with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor contempt, driving while license suspended canceled or revoked, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and reckless driving. Hawk was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Swen Arno Willis, 28, of Seligman, Mo., was arrested Friday, May 7, in connection with felony failure to appear.Willis was being held Saturday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Robert Clements, 10257 Andy Buck Rd., reported someone had stolen items from his house.

Sunday, May 9

John Young, 18300 Marshall St., Garfield, reported a canoe had been stolen.

Sean Kesler, 501 Mary Lane, Avoca, reported more than $3,000 in games, electronics and other items had been stolen.

11:34 p.m. A Bentonville man was hospitalized Monday night after being extricated from his vehicle, which was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Arkansas Highway 94 less than a mile north of Pea Ridge.Thomas Lewis, 54, of Bentonville, was taken by helicopter ambulance toWashington RegionalMedical Center in Fayetteville.

According to the state police report, Lewis was northbound entering a lefthand curve. His vehicle ran off the road to the right, traveled through a ditch, went up an embankment and went airborne over Don McAllister Road.The 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck slid into a large tree with the left front side of the vehicle.
