Warren Joseph Fischer

Warren Joseph Fischer “Mr. O.F.,” 69, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, April 26, at Concordia Health and Rehab in Bella Vista. He was born July 26, 1940, in St. Cloud, Minn., to Frank Fischer and Florine Thielman Fischer.

Fischer moved to the area in 1982 to make his home. He was a construction supervisor for Blattner Construction in Avon, Minn., and was a self-employed roofer in the Pea Ridge area for many years.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting, his friends, family and daily drives to Pea Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Fischer.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home;

two sons, George Honsinger and wife, Karla, of Bella Vista and Doug Fischer of Minnesota; three daughters, Shannon Rininger and husband, Doug, of Pea Ridge, and Brenda and Nancy Fischer of Minnesota; and two brothers, Jack Fischer and wife, Betty, of Sun City West, Ariz., and Paul Fischer and wife, Mary Jane, of Avon.

A memorial service was at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge with the Rev.

Johnny B. Case officiating.

Cremation arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Virginia Caroline Morrisette

Virginia Caroline Morrisette, 71, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, April 27, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born Feb. 27, 1939, in North Carolina.

She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader, loved working puzzles and adored working genealogy. In herspare time she loved listening to music and singing.

Virginia had lived in the northwest Arkansas area foreight years after moving from Fort Smith, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons: Robert Ball, of Oceanside, Calif., Donovan Ball and his wife, Sharon, of Hot Springs, Ark.; and two daughters: Melanie Kelly and her husband, Thomas, of Pea Ridge and KathleenCousar of Bradenton, Fla.; one brother; Charles Morrisette, of San Diego, Calif.;

and six grandchildren: Keith Ball, Terrell Taylor, Mikayla, Miranda, Tayler and Donovan Kelly.

Memorial services were from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bentonville.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Epting Funeral Home in Bella Vista.

Joyce Ann Pearcy

Joyce Ann Pearcy, 59, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, April 30, at her home. She was born March 17, 1951, in De Witt, Ark., to Eugene William Watkins and Nora Lee Jackson Watkins.

She was employed at Wal-Mart in accounts receivable. She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Delores, Colo., July 4, 1978.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Breeda Lynn Watkins and Ronda Kaylene Todd.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Pearcy of the home, whom she married Nov. 17, 1984; a daughter, Shelley Calico and husband, George, of Pea Ridge;

two stepdaughters, Kim Plasek and husband, Scott, of Flower Mound, Texas, and Karla Herrmann and husband, Curtis, of Agra, Okla.; two nieces, Charity Leach and husband, Vernon, of Pea Ridge, and Salinda Young of Centerton; two nephews, Brandon Todd and Tracy Weathered of Bentonville and Jerome Todd and wife, Blair, of Pea Ridge; two grandchildren, Shiann and Trey Calico;

seven step-grandchildren, Chantel Griffith, Gabriel, Rebekah, Samuel and Zachariah Herrmann and Liberty and Grant Plasek; one great-niece, Myka Leach;

three great-nephews, Vernon Leach, Caleb Young, and Jaxson Todd; and two step-great-grandsons, Kevin and Ian Griffith.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 3, at the funeral home.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel with brother Billy Joe Mannis and brother Bud Morris officiating.

Burial was at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Edward Harold Walker

Edward Harold “Eddie” Walker, 45, of Prairie Grove, died Monday, April 26, at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. He was born Feb. 23, 1965, at Fayetteville, the son of Robert Lee and Mary Louise Spencer Walker.

He was a lineman for Ozarks Electric.

Survivors include a son, Matthew Edward Walker of Prairie Grove; a daughter, Amanda Marie Walker of Lead Hill; a brother, Chuck Walker of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Sharon Champlin of Elkins and Tammy Walker of Goshen; one grandchild; and girlfriend, Christy Norwood of Pea Ridge.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Farmington High School Gym, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel, with pastor Chad Johnson officiating.

Burial was in Farmington Cemetery.

There was no visitation.

Pallbearers were John Sipes, Daniel Smith, James Hoerler, Luke Dolan, Brian Reed and Calvin Reed.

Honorary pallbearers were employees of Ozarks Electric.
