BBQ dinner and pie auction
The Pea Ridge High School Alumni Association will hold a BBQ Dinner and Pie Auction fund-raiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at the Pea Ridge Middle School cafeteria.
The menu will feature BBQ sandwiches, baked beans and other fixins. The pie auction will begin at 6 p.m.
Proceeds of the fundraiser will benefit the Alumni Scholarship Fund,which provides first-year college scholarships to graduating seniors from Pea Ridge High School. The 2009 recipients were Evelyn Torres, Brittany Morgan and Natalie Morgan.
Regional Chamber Business Expo
The Regional Chamber of Commerce serving Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri is sponsoring their fourth annual Business Expo 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the Pea Ridge High School.
Along with the interactive vendor booths, there will be a health and safety theme. The American Red Cross will be hold a blood drive on the premises. The Expo offers reasonable rates for all businesses and a reduced rate for nonprofit groups.

AREA EVENTS Jeep poker run set
SELIGMAN, Mo. - Just Jeep N, an all Jeep Poker run will be in Saturday March 27, and will start at the Seligman Community building. Sign in is from 10 a.m. to noon, with all Jeeps out at noon and back by 4 p.m. Poker hand is $20 per person.
There are several prizes - Hi Lift jack, KC lights and more. Food is available morning and evening.
There will be a choice of a wild trail or a mild trail. All Jeeps must be street legal.

Seligman tree project
SELIGMAN, Mo. - This is the last chance to order a tree or trees this springfrom the Seligman Chamber of Commerce. For a donation of $40 each you can get an approximately 16-foot tree, different maple varieties. These are healthy trees from a local nursery.

SELIGMAN, Mo. - The semi-annual city-wide garage sale will be held April 3.
The 2010 City of Pea Ridge Annual Spring Clean-up is set for 7 a.m.
to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, to Friday, April 16, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 17.
The city will not be providing curbside pickup.
Dumpsters will be located at the city property behind the former Village Hardware. All participants need to bring a form of identification and proof ofresidency.
A maximum of three trips per household is allowed, no exceptions.
Items should be separated into three categories: metal, refuse and brush. The following items will not be accepted: household trash, construction material, anything containing freon or items too large to fit in the dumpster.
