— BUNKER HILL, Mo. — It’s time again for the monthly singing event at Bunker Hill starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 3, in the new community building next to the old school house. A regular group of musicians will come to perform a variety of music.

Anyone in the audience can also participate in the singing or bring along an instrument to play. Last month there were 35 people in attendance.

Participants are asked to bring a potluck dessert, finger foods or a big pot of chili or soup for all to enjoy. There’s always coffee, tea and sodas to drink.

There is no charge, but donations are accepted tohelp defray the costs of electricity and heat.

The Bunker Hill Community Club is busy quilting for ladies in the area, working on items for the next quilt show in May and planning the next lunch on the square which will be Monday, March 29. All are invited to join at the community center to quilt or do other handwork or just to visit starting at 10 a.m. each Thursday of the month. For more information, call 223-5555.
