BENTON COUNTY RABIES CLINIC

— It is Arkansas law to have dogs and cats vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. The Arkansas Department of Health is partnering with local veterinarians for the Benton County Rabies Clinic Week 2010.

Participating veterinarian offices will be offering the rabies vaccination for dogs and cats at reduced rates at the following times and locations:

◊March 27: 2 - 2:30 p.m.

Gateway City Park. Service provided by Oak View Animal Clinic.

◊March 27: 2 - 3 p.m.

Little Flock Fire Station.

Service provided by Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

◊April 3: 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Avoca City Park. Service provided by New HopeAnimal Hospital.

◊April 3: 2:45 - 3:30 p.m. Garfield Elementary.

Service provided by New Hope Animal Hospital.

The following clinics will offer the rabies vaccine at reduced rates at their clinics during this week by appointment: Oak View Animal Clinic, 451-1048, and Pea Ridge Vet Clinic, 451-1116.
