— The Pea Ridge Middle School Choir attended the Northwest Region Choral Performance Assessments in Bentonville last week, along with 92 other area choirs. Three judges listened to the choir performthree prepared music pieces and the scores were averaged for a composite score.

The choir also went to a separate location and sing a short music piece that they have never seen before.

This is called sight-singing.

Pea Ridge Middle School choir is proud to have scored superior ratings (90 and above raw scores) in all categories.

Next up for the choir is the Spring Concert May 6 and a performance trip to Hot Springs May 15.
