Roy Lee Barnett

Roy Lee Barnett, 77, of Bentonville, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at GravetteMedical Center in Gravette from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born March2, 1932, in Vandervoort, Ark., to Edgar A. Barnett and Ruby Barnes Barnett.

During his lifetime, heworked at Killoren Company, Bud Harris Alignment and Blackwell Ford in Bentonville as a mechanic.

He owned a full-service gas station for three years before retiring in 1997.

He was a member of the Gravette United Methodist Church and faithfully served his church. He enjoyed life, his friends, hunting and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Francis Barnett, Jean Wright, Opal Edwards and Jessie McMillan;

two brothers, Rayford andWarren; his first wife, Ellen Haselip; and his second wife, Ruth Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Hershberger Barnett;

three sons, Don Barnett, David Barnett and Roy Darwin Barnett, all of Bentonville;

three daughters and sonsin-law, Debbie Barnett of Morton, Wash., Brenda and Michael Arredondo of Powell, Mo., Doris and Gary Perry of Bentonville; one sister, Bonnie Elton of Hamburg , Ark.; and one brother, Raymond Barnett of Mena, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; sevengreat-grandchildren; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be from 6 pm. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Rollins Funeral Home with pastor Randy Roughton officiating.

Interment will follow at Coffelt Memorial Cemetery in Vaughn.

Pallbearers will be Richard Grigg, James Barnett, David Barnett, Billy Rodgers,Michael Arredondo and Bob Clark.

Dolores Maxine Broyles

Dolores Maxine Broyles, 79, of Garfield, died Saturday, Feb. 27, at her home.

She was born Oct. 29, 1930, at Kansas City, Mo., to Ray Lewis Hurd and Wanda Bonnie Beaman Hurd.

She moved to Garfield in 1972 to make her home.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Appleton, her second husband Kenneth Broyles, and one brother, Roger Hurd.

Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Johnson of Garfield; two brothers, Richard Hurd and Harold Hurd, both of Garfield, and one sister, Kathy Brooks of Nevada.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
