Donations needed for annual Turkey Shoot

NEBCO Fire Department’s 2010 Turkey Shoot is set for Saturday, Sept. 25.

One of the big reasons for the success of the fundraiser is the open and silent auctions held each year. The success of theseauctions is largely dependent on the donation of good quality items from area residents that will attract enthusiastic buyers, including appliances (large and small) in good working condition, current technology electronic items, furniture (no mattresses), decorator items, good working power tools and lawn and garden equipment. Any items that you would find attractive will surely find a willing buyer. If you or your business has an item or items they would like to donate, call NEBCO at 359-3134 or 656-3707. If you cannot bring your items to our business office at 14639 S. Wimpy Jones Road, Garfield, arrangements will be made to pick them up.
