Wednesday, June 16

4:30 p.m. A resident on Weston Loop reported theft of prescription drugs.

Police found no sign of forced entry.The incident is under investigation.

Thursday, June 17

1:25 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop on Hayden Road near the City Park, arrested Jeffery Brown, 38,Washburn, Mo., for public intoxication.

3:59 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, arrested KacyW. Simpson, 23, Pea Ridge, on a felony warrant from Nebraska.

5:07 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on Weston Street near the ball fields involving Nathan Taylor, 24, Garfield, and Jeremy Whatley, 39, Pea Ridge.Taylor was cited for driving while his driver’s license was suspended.

Friday, June 18

12:35 a.m. Received a complaint at the Police Department about an assault that occurred on Weston Street.The investigation led to the arrest of James Majors, 35, Garfield, for two counts of domestic assault and one count of third degree battery.

Saturday, June 19

8:25 a.m. A two-vehicle accident on N. Curtis Avenue and Tinnin Street involving Linda Dennis, 62, Pea Ridge, and Stephen Lyons, 26, Pea Ridge.

Dennis was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

11:11 a.m. A three-vehicle accidentat the intersection of Hayden Road and West Pickens Street involving Charla Murry, 19, Bentonville; Jeffrey Massingill, 43, Pea Ridge; and Athina Campbell, 52, of Minnesota. Murry was cited for failure to yield.There were no injuries reported.

Sunday, June 20

10 a.m. Received a report from a resident on Eagle Crest that she was possibly struck by the mirror of her boyfriend’s vehicle.

Monday, June 21

7:29 p.m. A 39-year-old female resident of S. Curtis Avenue reported that a 50-year-old male had assaulted her. She was treated at a local hospital.

The incident is under investigation. Information has been sent to the county prosecutor.

Tuesday, June 22

7:29 a.m. A one-vehicle accident on South Curtis Avenue involving a northbound vehicle driven by Nathan Etris, 19, of Seligman, Mo., whose vehicle crossed the southbound lane, went into a ditch, crossed over two culverts and landed in the front lawn of a residence.

8:30 a.m. A resident reported finding drugs and drug paraphernalia beneath a tree near the pavilion in City Park.The items were recovered by police.The incident is under investigation.

8:30 a.m. A resident reported finding drugs and drug paraphernalia beneath a tree near the pavilion in City Park.The items - a substance which appeared to be marijuana, two glass pipes and a lighter - were recovered. Shortly after the items were recovered, a 16-year-old white male was seen searching the area and was detained for questioning.The incident is under investigation.
