— Open shop at PRHS

Current and prospective agriculture students at Pea Ridge High School will have an opportunity to work in the shop this summer during Open Shop on Fridays, July 2, 16 and 23.

Students may work on a variety of projects ranging from their SAE projects where welding or other skills are needed to their computer record books,public speaking practice, the outdoor classroom project and ag mechanics skills practice. The facility will open at 7:30 a.m. and will not close until all students have gone for the day.

Perry Mason, agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, said he is interested in meeting new high school students and talking about the coming school year. Parents are welcome to attend.
