Marinated Sirloin Steak

from www.tasteofhome.com

2 Tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce

4 tsp. steak sauce

1 Tbsp. lime juice

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger root

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 tsp. sesame oil

1/8 tsp. pepper

1 beef top sirloin steak (3/4 lb.)

In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Pour 1/4 c. into a large resealable plastic bag; add steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting.

Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat for 8-11 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium 160°; well-done 170°), basting frequently with reserved marinade.

Yield: 2 servings.
