Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include: Thursday, June 3
12 p.m.The investigation into a verbal disturbance at a business on East Pickens Street resulted in citing Jamie Champ, 32, Pea Ridge, for criminal trespass.
7 p.m. A resident on West Pickens Street reported a neighbor’s dog had crawled under the fence and into the yard and bitten the leg of a 12-year-old boy.The incident is under investigation.
Friday, June 4
4:24 p.m. A resident on Weston Loop reported a neighbor’s dog broke free from a tether and attacked her dog in her back yard. Her dog died as a result of its injuries.The owner of the attacking dog was cited for having nocity tags and for having a dangerous animal.
9:30 p.m. As the result of an investigation stemming from a traffic stop on East Pickens Street, Cody Garner, 20, Pea Ridge, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
9:46 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on East Pickens Street, James Larson, 23, Seligman, Mo., was arrested on Little Flock warrants.
11:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on N. Curtis Avenue, Cody Grifin, 24, of Garfield, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing governmental operations.
Sunday, June 6
11 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop on N. Curtis Avenue, Lillian O’Donnell, 18, Republic, Mo., was arrested for DWI.

Patrick Burton, 5316 Ervin McGarrah Road, reported the theft of a gun from his vehicle.
Tuesday, June 1
Claudie Jackson Helmick, 38, of 13855 Elkhorn Road in Garfield was arrested in connection with felony aggravated assault on a family or household member, possessionof a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain persons, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and terroristic threatening and misdemeanor assault on a family or household member. Helmick was being held Wednesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
