PEA RIDGE — The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters class of 2010 received their certificates and awards May 19 for participation in the 3-, 4- and 5-year old programs. The HIPPY program is a 2- to 3-year home-based program that helps parents prepare their children for kindergarten.

The program is provided to area families by the Pea Ridge schools and the Boston Mountain Educational Co-op and is free to those who qualify.
