PEA RIDGE — Arkansas Tech University names Pea Ridge students to Dean’s List

RUSSELLVILLE - Two Pea Ridge students were named to the Arkansas Tech University Dean’s List for undergraduate students, announced on the main campus in Russellville for the spring 2010 semester.

Lindsey Elaine Falkenstein and Brandon Michael Thompson made the list, achieving a 3.5 grade point average or higher and completing at least 12 semester hours.

A total of 1,381 Arkansas Tech students achieved that distinction during spring 2010, which is an increase of 5.6 percent overspring 2009.

McMahon named to Dean’s List

WALNUT RIDGE - Patrick McMahon of Garfield was recently named to the 2010 spring semester dean’s list at Williams Baptist College.

The list is comprised of those with at least a 3.5GPA.

Roughton honored

CONWAY - Ashley Roughton of Garfield was honored as a Presidential Scholar for the 2010 spring semester at the University of Central Arkansas. She is a senior working towards a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy.
