BENTON COUNTY — Gerald William Gregory
Gerald William Gregory, 54, of Biloxi, Miss., died May 17, in Biloxi. He was born Feb. 28, 1956, in California to Warren Fred and Mary Mae Jeannotte Gregory.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Pat, of Siloam Springs; two sons, Seth Gregory of Rogers and Jessie Gregory of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Sarah Gregory of Rogers;
his father of Kansas City, Mo.; and two sisters, including Sandi Johnson of Fayetteville.
Memorial services are pending.
Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
Doris R. Searcy
Doris R. Searcy, 86, of Bentonville, died May 25, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born April 6, 1924, in Pea Ridge to the late Edward and Myrtle Webb.
She had been employed in the Benton County Courthouse several years ago and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bentonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Louis; and by two brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice Seay of Pea Ridge; four sons, Alan Searcy, Dennis Searcy and Danny Searcy, all of Bentonville, and David Searcy of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three sisters, Irene Bell of Bentonville, Jo Ann Miller of Fayetteville and Lois Mathew of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Kently Webb of Pea Ridge; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 28, at the Bentonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, AR 72762.
Arrangements were under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
Ora Wood
Ora Adeline Wood, 94, of Pea Ridge, died Monday, May 31, at Bradford House in Bentonville. Shewas born July 31, 1915, near Seligman, Mo., to Ernest and Jenny Pearl Mitchell Webb.
She waspreceded in death by her husband, Owen Wood in 1994.
Survivors include a son, Tim and his wife, Sharon, of Pea Ridge; a grandson, Robert and his wife, Jenny, of Pea Ridge; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are pending.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.
Novella Gertrude Wright
Novella Gertrude Wright, 87, of Pea Ridge, died May 25 at home, surrounded byher family. She was born June 11, 1922, in Bristow, Okla., to Walter and Sarah Stone.
She wasof the Christian faith. She was employed as a nurse at hospitals in California and locally. She worked at Wal-Mart for several years before retiring. She was an avid Braves baseball fan and loved to play Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Wright;
brothers, Norman and Ronald Stone; sisters, Ocella Wright, Alma Loyd and Wanda Graves.
Survivors include her son, J.C. Wright and his wife, Harriet, of Avoca; a daughter, Donna Matlock and her husband, Ed, of Rogers; a brother, Melvin Stone of Oroville, Calif.;
her sisters, Billie Anderson of LaGrande, Ore., Betty Morden and her husband, Dwayne, and Saundra Lukins and her husband, Don, of Bakersfield, Calif.;
12 grandchildren; 34 greatgrandchildren; and 29great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
