Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Tuesday, July 13

7:42 a.m. A woman reported that while she was walking on Weston Street she was bitten by a dog. Proof of vaccination for the dog was verified.

The dog’s owners were cited for dog at large.

Thursday, July 15

3 p.m. Police received a report of a party at a residence on Hayden Road in which property was damaged and possibly alcohol was served to minors.

The incident is under investigation.

Friday, July 16

10:30 a.m. A 17-year-old white male was arrested for shoplifting from Dollar General. He was transported to Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

Saturday, July 17

4:32 a.m. In checking the welfare of a person sitting in a vehicle on South Davis Street, police arrested Darin Bieberle, 41, of Great Bend, Kan., of public intoxication.

3 p.m. A county resident reported being harassed at a business in Pea Ridge.

6:10 p.m. A two-vehicle parking lot accident was reported at Marvin’s IGA involving Lisa Boyd, Bentonville, and Lindsay Frame, Pea Ridge. Frame was cited for driving without a driver’s license, no proof of insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.The owner of the vehicle Frame was driving, Shannon Gautney, Pea Ridge, was cited for allowing unauthorized person to drive. 8:07 p.m. Pea Ridge Police assisted Bentonville police with the canine unit to search for drugs at a vehicle stop on U.S. Hwy. 71 in Bentonville. A small white rock-like substance was found.

Tuesday, July 13

James Allan Whisenhunt, 29, of 16638 Patterson Rd, Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with felony theft by receiving.

Whisenhunt was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday with no bond set.

Sunday, July 18

Russell W.Bartholomew, 70, of 15654 Battlefield Rd., Garfield, was arrested for contempt, a class C misdemeanor.

Jacob Ryan Burrow, 25, of 8010 E. McNelly Road was arrested in connection with domestic battery in the third degree.

Burrow was being held Mondayin the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Daniel Edward Ingram, 23, of 1460 Kay Lynn Circle, Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with driving while intoxicated, second offense, and driving under a suspended license.

Elizabeth Anne Simon, 30, of 12498 Lodge Dr., Garfield, was arrested in connection with battery in the third degree.

Simon was being held Monday inthe Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Edward Allen Wright, 49, of 16544 Battlefield Rd., Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with a failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Wright was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
