Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Wednesday, July 7

1:40 a.m. Upon investigation of a subject lurking behind McDonalds, police arrested Cody Sanders, 18, Garfield, for public intoxication.

6:01 p.m. Responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at a residence on Eagle Crest. Subjects had separated by the time of the officer’s arrival. No arrests were made.

Friday, July 9

6:30 a.m. Received a report of an individual laying on the pavement of the parking lot behind the old elementary school gym. Upon investigation, arrested David Gallegos, 27, Sanantea,Texas, for public intoxication.

7:45 a.m. Received a report from a resident on Hickory Street of breaking and entering.The resident reported that both a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am and a 2002 Mazda Tribute appeared to have been entered into. Items missing include black Fossil leather purse and contents.

Sunday, July 11

10:56 a.m. Responded to a residence on Kings Lane in reference to unattended death.

8 p.m.Three people were arrested as a result of traffic stop on Pickens Street at Hayden Road after receiving information from an anonymous caller of possibly intoxicated drivers. Arrested were: Sheldon Burkett, 20, Pea Ridge, for public intoxication and minor in possession; Meredith Cordoza, 18, Pea Ridge, for minor in possession, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of counterfeit substance; and Gretchen Cordoza, 50, of Pea Ridge, for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and allowing passengers to ride in spaces not for passengers.

Monday, July 12

5:05 p.m. Oascar Alvarenga, 20, Rogers, was arrested for domestic battery as a result of a reported disturbance in the area of the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic, Lee Town Road. He was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday morning with no bond set.

8:50 p.m. Stacy Kline Jr., 20, Centerton, was arrested following a traffic stop on Weston Street which was the result of a report of a reckless driver entering the city on Arkansas Highway 72. Kline was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and obstructing governmental operations.

Wednesday, June 30

Paul Roger Evans, 55, of Washburn, Mo., was arrested in connection with fourth-offense driving while intoxicated, a felony, and misdemeanor failureto appear and careless driving. Tuesday, July 6

Terry Dean Liddell, 23, of 18718 Gann Ridge Rd., Garfield, was arrested in connection with felony failure to appear. Liddell was being heldMonday in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
