Elementary art work to hang in Gilcrease

— Art work by 52 Pea Ridge Primary and Intermediate art students will be displayed in a month long art exhibition at the Gilcrease Museum of American Art in Tulsa, Okla.

Pea Ridge School was named to be one of 12 schools this year to be honored with such an exhibit, the second year in a row that the Art ’Hawks have been so honored. The exhibition began June 23 and will run until July 18.

There will be a special reception at the museum at 2 p.m. July 10 to honor the students and their parents.

There will also be tours and art mini-camps that day as well for those who would like to take part.

The students whose work will hang in the Gilcrease this summer includes:

Kindergarten: Lauren Wright, Monique Holley, Vanessa Ollivier, Elijah Austin and Nalea Holliday

First grade: Blaklee Winn,Marcus Nobles, Jake Ingram, Jackson Revelle, Zaelea Harris, Dillon Brouse, Rebecca Trammel, Harmoney Reynolds and Cody McGarrah

Second grade: Jaden Olguin, Madison Blankenship, Adam Trammel, Lorena Razuri, Haley McGee, Holden O’Neal, David Snarr, Jasten Lothes, Artur Kucharewics and Garrison Artman

Third grade: Gracie Downs, Hollyn Davis, Kashania Martinez, Leanza Norris, Halley Laster, AshleyHenson, Ashley Hansen, Alayna Brown and Tori Scrogham

Fourth grade: Nakoa Manues, Kenny Dorsey, John Wesley Bross, Aimee Harper, Maggie Kiely, Parker Revelle, Marissa Barrios and Shiann Calico

Fifth grade: Austin Anderson, Haley Messer, Megan Turner, Spencer Ellison, Rachel Wood, Berkely Mardis, Timothy Cribbs, Joseph Beard, Miranda Morgan and Kamden Boyd.
