Contestants seek Junior Miss Pea Ridge title

— Two Pea Ridge teens will compete for the title of Jr. Miss Pea Ridge at 7 p.m. Thursday during the 60th anniversary of the Pea Ridge Community Fair.

Autumn Marie Brewer, the daughter of Charlie and Belinda Brewer of Pea Ridge, is 5’2” with blond hair and hazel eyes. She will be in Pea Ridge High School FFA next year. Herhobbies include going to the lake, camping, being with friends and family, working out and fourwheeling. In the future, she hopes to become a cosmetologist. She is sponsored by Belinda and CharlieBrewer.

Kristen Landis, the daughter of Mark andTammy Landis of Pea Ridge, is 5’41/2” with blond hair and blue eyes. She is going into her junior year and is involved in band, jazz band and will be on the prom committee next year. Herhobbies include going camping, outdoor activities and hanging out with her friends. In the future, she hopes to attend college and get a degree in education to teach middle school math.

She is sponsored by Eula Landis and Mark Landis.

Contestants for Jr. Miss Pea Ridge must be going into their junior year beginning fall, 2010. Judging will be by judges not from the Pea Ridge area and on a point system based on beauty, personality, poise and citizenship.
