— The Pea Ridge Primary/Intermediate School online art gallery reached a milestone this week as the number of visitors to the Web site exceeded 100,000 in less than a year of operation.

Established in February of last year, the school has maintained an exhibit on the Artsonia world wide art gallery and to date has posted over 18,000 pieces of art work rendered by local artists in kindergarten through fifth grades. The nearly13,000 works published during the 2009-2010 school term ranks as the most by any school in the United States.

In the current Artsonia state wide competition for general excellence, Pea Ridge ranks number one. The school not only has the most art on display, they also have the largest number of parents and friends who interact with the website and its programs. Nationally the Web site ranks 32nd among the 4,000 schools in the U.S. who have a presence on the Web gallery.
