BENTON COUNTY — A 17-year-old male was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 6, for rape of a minor after an investigation into a complaint of possible sexual assault of a 4-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl.

Officials from the Children’s Advocacy Center received the complaint which was investigated by state and Pea Ridge law enforcement officials. The youth was jailed at Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The incident is still under investigation.
