• Make copies of everything you send.
• Don’t ask “What’s the deadline?” ask “How soon can I apply?”
• If meeting a deadline is important, use delivery confirmation.
• Make sure your printer is working before starting the online application.
• Read the application instructions.
• Read your mail.
• Apply, it’s free.
• If you’re not sure, don’t assume — ask.
