PEA RIDGE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT

— Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Two warrants were served:

◊2/1 Clarence Taylor, 35, Rogers, contempt failure to complete Drug Alcohol Safety Education Program; and

◊2/4 Ana Estevez, 19, Rogers, failure to appear.

Monday, Feb. 1

9:01 p.m. Received a report from a resident on Blair Circle that her estranged husband’s ex-wife had been following her in a vehicle and harassing her.The incident is under investigation.

Tuesday, Feb. 2

5:45 p.m. In conjunction with an ambulance call for a juvenile with breathing difficulties, responded to a residence on Wade Lane and discovered a domestic disturbance had occurred.The 15-year-old white male was transported first to the hospital, then to Juvenile Detention Center for domestic battery.

Wednesday, Feb. 3

8:20 p.m. Cited a 17-year-old male Pea Ridge student from Garfield for disorderly conduct after receiving a report of an altercation at Pea Ridge High School in which the youth reportedly refused to leave the school grounds when told to do so by the school principal and threatened the principal.

The incident apparently stemmed from an altercation which had occurred earlier in the evening between a 16-year-old male Pea Ridge student and a 17-year-old Prairie Grove student.

Thursday, Feb. 4

Received a report from a resident on Charles Street that her dog was attacked by neighbor’s dogs which entered her back yard. Her dog was hospitalized.The incident is under investigation.

Friday, Feb. 5

1 p.m. As a follow-up investigation to an incident reported earlier, went to a residence on South Curtis Avenue in reference to threats made.The investigation revealed the report was unfounded.

5:34 p.m. Received a report of a theft in the boys’ visitors’ locker room at the gym at Pea Ridge High School. It appeared forced entry was made through a window. Money and a cell phone were reported missing.The investigation led to the arrest of a 16-year-old male PeaRidge student for theft by receiving, a 15-year-old male Pea Ridge student for commercial burglary and theft of property and a 13-year-old male Pea Ridge student for commercial burglary and theft of property.The youths were cited and released to the custody of their parents or guardians awaiting a court date for Juvenile Court.

Sunday, Feb. 7

4 a.m. Received a report from a resident on Humphries Street that he was awakened by a knock at his door and his daughter’s bedroom window and saw a maroon pickup truck leaving the area. He discovered his vehicle had been egged and peanut butter put beneath the door handles of his vehicle.

An officer initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle matching the description of the maroon truck and questioned the male and female juvenile occupants.The incident is still under investigation.

Monday, Feb. 8

The resident from Humphries Street who reported the egging on Sunday reported to police that he had been contacted by the party who had vandalized his truck and the responsible party had apologized.The truck owner did not wish to press charges.
