PEA RIDGE — Jr. ’Hawks vs. Prairie Grove - Feb. 3
The junior Blackhawks lost 40-48. They had the lead at half 24-22, but came out in the third quarter and played mediocre basketball.
Jacob Hall and Camron Tidwell both had 9 points, Dusty Morgan 7 points, Evan Tillman 6 points.
Jr. ’Hawks vs. Berryville - Feb. 5
’Hawks (13-9) win 39-35.
“This was a close contest for four quarters,” coachQuentin Snoderly said, “which is exactly what we anticipated.”
Berryville led after the first quarter 5-7. “We had several opportunities for lay-ups but did not capitalize,” Snoderly said.
The junior ’Hawks played Saturday afternoon against Gentry to end the regular season.
The District Tournament was set with junior ’Hawks receiving the No. 2 seed to be played on Monday against Berryville.
