Self-defense for women

The Bentonville Police Department will be hosting a 12-hour women’s self-defense class, beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17. The class will be from 6 p.m. till 10 p.m.

on Jan. 18 and Jan. 20 at the Bentonville Police Department. There is no cost to attend. The class will be physically demanding, so be prepared to dress for constant activity.

Lions Club hold dance

Seligman, Mo., Lions Club community dance will be Thursday Jan. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Seligman community building. Live band will be Frosty Garland and the Road Hogs.

Admission is $4 each adult, snacks are optional. No alcohol or smoking allowed.
