Village Garden & Landscape Co. - a neighborhood garden center

— Why drive to Rogers or Bentonville to find garden and landscaping items when Village Garden & Landscaping Co. is in Bella Vista’s own back yard? On a main highway, the location couldn’t be more handy. With competitive prices, efficient work and creative design, Village Garden & Landscape Co. is often considered the “neighborhood” garden center that is conveniently open seven days a week. They even carry seasonal firewood in oak, hickory and cedar in full and half ricks with delivery available.

“We are a full service landscaping company that includes fence installation, clean up and debris removal, gutter and roof cleaning, irrigation installation, along with repair and winterizing, and much, much more,” said owner Brian Grosnickle. Their landscaping team has a combined total of 26 years of landscape and plant knowledge.

Village Garden & Landscape also does rock yards, sod installation, raised beds and berms, retaining walls, garden design and plant installation. They carry a variety of plants suited to the climate zone and soil of the region and can help design a landscape. They can also provide the expertise needed to maintain it.

“We do not sell anything not meant to be in Northwest Arkansas, nor do we sell plants that will not perform well here,” Grosnickle says. “We do carry a wide variety of perennials that you won’t find in the ‘big box’ stores or other garden centers.” Being an independent garden center and nursery, Village Garden has many plant varieties available only to them.

Grosnickle says to use basic common sense for plant care. He advises to always put the plant where it wants to be. “The biggest mistake people make is putting the plant where THEY want it and not where the plant WANTS to be. Another mistake is putting plants too close together for a full look,” says Grosnickle. “In a few years, beds will end up a crowded, over grown mess.”

Village Garden & Landscape Co. sells top quality plants that have been well taken care of at a reasonable price. Busiest in the spring and fall, they also clean up yards, replace dead shrubs, design landscapes and suggest how to make their clients yards stand out from the rest.

“We enjoy what we do and take pride in transforming a client’s yard into one that they willenjoy AND be proud of for many years to come,” Grosnickle adds.
