NEBCO RESTAURANT INSPECTIONS

— Information is from state Health Department records. Restaurants are listed in order of inspection date. All reports are from regular food service food store inspections unless otherwise noted. Critical violations are defined as items that relate directly to factors that lead to food-borne illness and must be corrected immediately. Noncritical violations are defined as items that relate to maintenance of food operations and cleanliness.

Marvin’s Food Saver

Noncritical violations: Produce handwashing sink blocked by pallet of potatoes, must be accessible at all times.

No hand drying provisions at produce handwashing sink. Infant formula out of date. Meat cutter needs to wear hair restraint.

Critical violations: Meat loaf not holding at 135 degrees or above.

Prep table is not holding food at 41 degrees or below. Unit is supposed to be replaced today. Ham was destroyed.

Wiping cloth sanitizer is too strong;

should be 50-100 ppm (chlorine). Date marking is required on potentially hazardous foods (deli meats and other cooked foods).

Noncritical violations: Interior panel/ gasket of French fry freezer is coming apart exposing the insulation; surface is no longer smooth and easily cleanable.

Critical violations: Reheat food to 165 degrees in two hours or less prior to hot holding at 135 degrees.

The Buss Stop Grill

18395 Marshall, Garfield

Critical violations: Cooler with sandwiches is not holding at 41 degrees or below; sandwich was 54 degrees; (food destroyed). Front right side of chicken warmer is not keeping food at 135 degrees (food destroyed). Sliced/canned mushrooms over a month old. Canned mushrooms must only be held for seven days. Corned beef dated Nov. 22,2010, (destroyed). Establishment was holding leftover food for local farmer. If food is not picked up immediately this practice must end. Food was excessively moldy. Dishwasher does not have any soap or sanitizer at all. Suggest keeping a log indicating it was checked daily.

Noncritical violations: Hot water is not working at hand-washing sink;

repair immediately. Excessive condensation leak in freezer. Do not store open food under compressor until repaired.

Mold on compressor and walk-in shelves. Power wash shelves. Have compressor professionally cleaned.
