Five warrants served:

◊12/4 Michael Spooner, 37, Pea Ridge, failure to appear;

◊12/3 Monte Holt, 58, Pea Ridge, failure to appear;

◊12/6 Rebecca Schnitzer, 49, Rogers, failure to appear;

◊12/6 William Pomeroy, 21, Gravette, contempt failure to pay fines and costs; and

◊12/6 Johnny Nichols Jr., 41, Rogers, failure to appear.

Other incidents include: Monday, Nov. 29

5:40 p.m. A one-vehicle accident at Slack Street and It’ll Do Road involving Christina Cops, 38, of Pea Ridge, who said a deer jumped in front of her vehicle causing damage to her Jeep Liberty.

Wednesday, Dec. 1

6:12 a.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported two breaking and entering incidents involving someone breaking into two of her vehicles and stealing an MP3 player, cable and a package of cigarrettes. A second report from a neighbor involved two vehicles, as well. Missing were CDs and change.

3 p.m. Received a report at the police station of a person advising of fraud in which someone claimed to have found their lost merchandise; they purchased a money order from Marvin’s IGA to pay for the shipping costs to return the item, but were unable to contact the recipient of the money order.

Thursday, Dec. 2

12:15 p.m. A two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of the city maintenance facility involving a personal vehicle driven by GaryTuszynski, 48, Pea Ridge, and Thomas Thompson, 57, Pea Ridge, driving a city-owned vehicle. Tuszynski reportedly backed into the city-owned vehicle driven byThompson.

12:55 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on West Pickens Road and North Curtis Avenue involving Gary Fowler, 37, Fayetteville, and Jacob Venema, 28, Pineville, Mo., involving Fowler making an illegal U-turn. He was cited for illegal U-turn and no or expired insurance.

5:39 p.m. Criminal mischief reported by a business owner on Lee Town Road involving an 11-year-old boy shooting her business windows with a BB gun.

The parents were notified.

Friday, Dec. 3

6:21 p.m. A one-vehicle accident on Lee Town Road involving a vehicle driven by Perry Butcher, 53, Garfield, which struck a cow that stepped into the road.

3 p.m. Two incidents of possible illegal dumping were reported: one on Greer Street behind the football stadium and one on Dove Road. Items were collected and the incident is under investigation.

Sunday, Dec. 5

5 p.m. An assault by a 14-year-old boy who was transported to the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center for assault on a family member.

8:30 p.m. A female employee at White Oak Station reported an unknown male threatening her at work.

The incident is under investigation.

Incidents reported to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office recently include: Friday, Nov. 26

Harold J. Campbell, 26, of Garfield, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Campbell was in the Washington County Detention Centeron a parole violation

Fred Gerald Short Jr., 43, of Pea Ridge, arrested Friday by the BCSO for Criminal use of phobitited weapon, felony; possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of firearm by certain persons, felony.

Rick Lee Lawson, 37, Seligman, Mo., was arrested by BCSO for contempt.
