Tuesday, Aug. 17

12:30 p.m. Received a complaint about a party involving minors and alcohol in one of the apartments at King Lane.The investigation led to the arrest of Kayla Case, 19, Pea Ridge, for possession of drug paraphernalia and contributiong to the deliquency of minors.Three males - 18, 17, and 16 years of age - as well as drug paraphernalia and alcohol containers were found in the apartment.

5:05 p.m. A two-vehicle accident at Slack Street and Barris Lane involving Timmy Howell, 50, Pea Ridge, and Coty Cheshire, 22, Pea Ridge.There were no citations issued.

Wednesday, Aug. 18

1 p.m. Received a report from a business on North Curtis Avenue of a dispute between two business owners in the same building.There were no charges filed.

Thursday, Aug. 19

4 p.m. Responded toWhite Oak Station after receiving a report from an Arkansas State Police investigator of a person in a vehicle smoking what appeared to be marijuana. Police cited Sarah Durling, 25, of Springdale, for possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a minor as she admitted to being 7 months pregnant.The driver of the vehicle, Sam Townsend, 27, Pea Ridge, was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor as a 6-year-old child was also in the vehicle.The child was released to his grandmother.

Friday, Aug. 20

5:10 p.m. One man was arrested as the result of an investigation into aone-vehicle accident in the 2400 block of South Curtis Avenue involving Claud Loggins, 59. Loggins told officers he lost control of his truck while trying to answer his cell phone.The investigation led to the arrest of Loggins for DWI, no insurance and failure to maintain control of his vehicle.

5:10 p.m. Police were called toWhite Oak Station to assist the Pea Ridge ambulance which had been dispatched there for possibly a juvenile having a seizure.The young man, Cody Deans, 19, of Humansville, Mo., told officers he had taken his seizure medication, but had also been smoking marijuana earlier in the day. A pipe was recovered.

Deans was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, Aug. 21

1:15 p.m. As the result of a traffic stop on West Pickens Street, police arrested Jeffery Schneider, 43, Pea Ridge, for obstructing governmental operations. He was also cited for no driver’s license and no proof of insurance.

8:30 p.m. Police received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Daniel Lane. Police talked to both parties and no arrests were made.

Sunday, Aug. 22

9 p.m. Investigated a two-vehicle accident on Arkansas Highway 94 and North Harvey Wakefield involving Jose Maldonado, 65, of Donna,Texas, and Randy Reinking, 51, of Bella Vista.

Maldonado was cited for no insurance and an expired vehicle license.

8:36 p.m. After receiving a report from a resident on South Curtis Avenue that her adult daughter was drunk and belligerent, police arrested Cheri L.

Hobkirk, 39, of Pea Ridge, for obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest.

Tuesday, Aug. 17

Carl Justin Holder of 24654 S. Main St., Seligman, Mo., was arrested in connection with the possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance and shoplifting.

Larry Shane Matney of 22927 Rosario Rd., Garfield, was arrested for failure to appear.

Jerry Don Newman of 375 Rains Rd., Pineville, Mo., was arrested in connection with theft of property greater than $500.

Lyle Russell White of 14478 It’ll Do Rd., Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with the delivery of a controlled substance.

Bob Zamastil of 18100 Marshall St., Garfield, reported that he is remodeling a home and someone stole tile and ceiling fans.

Kenneth Jay Woodward, 50, of 12847 Lodge Dr., Garfield, was arrested in connection with robbery and theft of property.Woodward was being heldTuesday in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Saturday, Aug. 21

Luke Gerald Gurganus, 33, of 21297 U.S. Hwy. 62, Garfield, was arrested in connection with possession of a controlled substance, careless driving, driving while intoxicated, speeding and refusal to submit to intoxication test.

Martha Michelle Woodward, 42, of 12897 Lodge Dr., Garfield, was arrested in connection with two counts of felony failure to appear, one count of felony robbery, theft of property and misdemeanor failure to appear.

Monday, Aug. 23

Johnny Wayne Burton, 54, of 17936 Gann Ridge Rd., Garfield, was arrestedfor contempt and failure to appear.

Burton was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $940 bond.

Daniel Edward Ingram, 23, of 1460 Kay Lynn Circle, Pea Ridge, was arrested for contempt. Ingram was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
