PEA RIDGE — Beginning Saturday, Aug. 28, the Pea Ridge Fire Department will staff a weekend day-shift, according to Fire Chief Frank Rizzio.
The shifts will be modeled after the department’s successful weekday program, now in its fourth year.
Rizzio said the additional staffing days will continue the improved response times and capabilities realized with the weekday program, and coincides with the department’s longterm service improvement strategy.
