PEA RIDGE — Finis Wood was pictured in the Historical Photo feature in last week’s Times at the old 1928 post office, not the west end post office of the 1970s. The old post office of Finis Wood’s day was mid-way in the earlier row of four store-fronts. The postal counter in the Museum came from the newer westend post office building, not from the old post office building at which Finis Wood was pictured. The Times apologizes for the error.
As a matter of policy, The Times of Northeast Benton County will publish corrections of errors in fact that have been printed in the newspaper. The corrections will be made as soon as possible after the error has been brought to the attention of the editor at 451-1196.
