Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

Tuesday, Aug. 3

12:30 p.m. A resident on Greer Street reported a possible identification theft concerning a credit card he used once on vacation, but discovered additional charges on the card in that town.The incident is under investigation.

5:15 p.m. Assisted probation officers and Benton County Sheriff’s Office narcotics task force with two arrests at King Lane apartments.

Skyler William Mullins, 19, of 1410 West Margaret, Rogers, was arrested in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia and revoke or suspendedsentence or probation.

Thursday, Aug. 5

4:03 p.m. A resident on Cherry Street reported harrassing communcations involing her former friend and co-worker sending inappropriate e-mails to her fiancee. She asked for extra patrols.

5 p.m. Krystle Slyter, 20, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a warrant from Lowell as the result of a traffic stop on Mc-Culloch and Weston streets.

9:41 p.m. A resident reported suspicious circumstances on John Montgomery Circle in which a woman reported that her 8-year-old grandson reported he was chased by an unknown person.

The incident is under investigation.

Friday, Aug. 6

12:30 p.m. Responded to King Lane apartments at the request of Charles Joseph Ferguson, 25, of 581 Kings Lane, who wanted to make a statement concerning a report he had given the previous day. Ferguson was arrested for a felony parole violation. Fergusonwas in the Benton County Jail Tuesday morning with no bond set.

10 p.m. Police initiated a traffic stop on Pickens Street, but the driver of the vehicle attempted to flee, turned onto Patterson Road and then into a driveway.The driver, Phillip L. Upchurch, 44, Bentonville, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possessionof drug paraphernalia, obstructing governmental operations, driving on a suspended driver’s license and on a hold for a Springdale warrant.

Saturday, Aug. 7

10:40 a.m. A two-vehicle accident on Hallack Lane involving Dylan Luff, 18, and Billy Tyler, 25, Rogers.There were no injuries reported nor citations issued.

3:25 p.m. While conducting an investigation, arrested Raymond Dean Russell, 48, Independence, Mo., for failure to appear. He was in the BentonCounty Jail Tuesday with no bond set.

4:30 p.m. Arrested Bryan Gene DeShields, 38, Pea Ridge, for obstructing governmental operations, public intoxication, resisting arrest,terroristic threatening in the second degree and violation of a protection order after police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Frost Street.

6:15 p.m. A white Chevrolet pickup truck was seen hitting the front of the McDonalds restaurant and then leaving the scene of the accident heading south on North Curtis Avenue. Police are investigating the incident.

Sunday, Aug. 8

1:15 a.m. Lori Serrano, 43, Garfield, was arrested for public intoxication at White Oak Station.

3:15 p.m. Jacob Snyder, 24, Rogers, arrested for driving while intoxicated and driving with no driver’s license as the result of a traffic stop on East Pickens Street.

Monday, Aug. 9

11:17 p.m. Arrested Ricky Joe Nelson, 31, Rogers, for public intoxication, drinking in public, after receiving a report of intoxicated persons at EZ Mart. He was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday on a written promise bond.

BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

Tuesday, Aug. 3

Misty Gayle McCasland, 31, of 17310 N. Arkansas Hwy. 94, Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with two counts of felony first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia in the course or furtherance of a felony drug violation, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and revocation of a suspended sentence or probation. McCasland was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $40,000 bond.

Wednesday, Aug. 4

Darren Michael Vohs, 28, of Garfield, was arrested in connection with felony aggravated assault on a family or household member, first degreeterroristic threatening and misdemeanor third-degree domestic battering and interference with emergency communication.

Freddie Gerald Short Jr., 42, of Pea Ridge, was arrested for felony criminal use of a prohibited weapon, possession of firearm by certain persons and misdemeanor possession of a controlled orcounterfeit sub stance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sarah Marie Short, 30, of Pea Ridge, was arrested for withfelony possessionof firearm by certain persons. Friday, Aug. 6

Andrea Kireen Murphy, 24, of Pea Ridge, was arrested Friday for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a controlled orcounterfeit substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua Edward Courtney, 27, of Pea Ridge, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.

Miranda Lynn Gatewood, 29, of Gateway, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. Gatewood was being held Monday in the Benton CountyJail in lieu of $5,000 bond.

Saturday,Aug.7

One person was taken by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville after a truck left the roadway, hit a tree and overturned about 6:30 p.m. on Woods Lodge Road, west of the water treatment plant.

Sunday, Aug. 8

Deputies responded to a report of a theft at 300 E. Rose St. in Avoca. Charles Baxter reported the theft of a stereo from his vehicle.

Jason Kaduce, 550 Weston Loop, Pea Ridge, reported he returned home to find his garage door partially open, windows open and a gun missing.

Monday, Aug. 9

Salvador Ochoa Vargas, 37, East Harris Road, Pea Ridge, was arrested by BCSO deputies for domestic battering in the third degree, driving while license was canceled, suspended or revoked, and third degree assault on a family or household member. He was in the Benton County Jail Tuesday morning with no bond set.
