Incidents reported to the Pea Ridge Police Department this week include:

◊7/29 Jacob Wilson, 20, Pea Ridge, failure to appear;

◊7/29 Cristyl Bonagurio, 29, Bella Vista, contempt failure to pay fines and costs; and

◊8/2 James Larson, 24, Seligman, Mo., failure to appear.

Monday, July 26

10 a.m. A minor motor-vehicle accident involving a Roll-Off service truck driven byTroy Russell, 48, of Rogers, which struck a light pole.

Tuesday, July 27

7:57 p.m. A resident of West Pickens reported he shot and killed a dog in his yard. Shawn Means reported he heard his wife scream and discovered his neighbor’s Pit Bull dog in his yard.

He said he attempted, unsuccessfully, to contact the neighbor. He reported that he returned to his yard and the dog acted aggressively towards him so he shot it.The neighbor, Robert Sorrels, 26, Pea Ridge, was cited for a dog running at large. Means, 30, was cited for discharging a firearm in the city limits.

12:10 p.m. Assisted Centerton police and fire departments with traffic control in their jurisdiction at an accident after witnessing the accident while enroute to court.

Thursday, July 29

3:42 p.m. After receiving information from Decatur Police that a subject sought by their department was living in town, located Jon Bean, 35, of Pea Ridge, and arrested him on two warrants from failure to appear from Decatur and transported him to the Benton County Jail.

1 p.m. A complainant came to the police station to report that he had left his Chevrolet pickup truck parked on Hutchinson Street from 4 to 10 p.m. and it appeared someone had scratched the tailgate.

Saturday, July 31

4:21 a.m. Located an individual walking on East Watie Street. Upon investigation, discovered the subject appeared to be under the influence.Timothy Pope, 18, Garfield, was arrested for drinking in public.

5:29 p.m. Received a report of two dogs inside an unlocked vehicle at Marvin’s IGA.The vehicle was not running; the windows were open about an inch. Police took possession of he dogsand waited for the owner of the vehicle to return.The vehicle’s owner, Kathy Crites, 39, of Seligman, Mo., was cited for two counts of cruelty to animals and the dogs were taken into custody.

Sunday, Aug. 1

1:22 a.m. Received a report of a disturbance on Barnes Circle. Upon investigation, discovered it was verbal.

No further action was taken.

11:12 p.m. Dispatched to a verbal disturbance at a residence on Todd Circle that was apparently a continuation of a disturbance from July 31. A K98 Mauser rifle, which had been reported stolen out of Texas, was recovered.

1 p.m. A two-vehicle accident in the McDonald’s parking lot involving Brianna Shepard, 24, Centerton, and Racheal Fuller, 70, Bentonville, in which one person backed out of parking spot into the other.

Monday, Aug. 2

8:30 a.m. A resident on Patton Street reported the back glass of a 2007 Ford pickup truck appeared to have been shot with a BB gun.

12 p.m.While assisting a parole officer at a residence on Patterson Road, noticed several smoking pipes containing residue which appeared to be an illegal substance. Patricia Logan, 48, Pea Ridge, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Kirk Kovach, 49, Pea Ridge, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and held for parole.

6:24 p.m. A caller advised about a reckless driver in a red Ford Mustang driving erratically on Lee Town Road. A traffic stop was made at Marvin’s IGA and Ashley Durossette, 19, Cassville, Mo., was arrested for DWI-drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

8 p.m. Received a call about a suspicious female walking on Smith Street.

During the investigation, it was determined that she was under the influence. Her probation officer was contacted and Tracy Ellison, 41, Pea Ridge, was arrested on a white warrant.

Tuesday, Aug. 3

4:06 a.m. Received a report about two males talking loudly in the street at the intersection of Patton and N. Davis streets and headlights from a vehicle flashing on and off.The investigation led to the arrest of Skyler Mullins, 19, of Rogers, for possession of drug paraphernalia and on a white warrant from his probation officer.

BENTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Wednesday, July 28

Bruce Lynn McCoy, 48, of 17310 North Ark.

Hwy. 94, No. 2, Pea Ridge, was arrested by Bentonville Police for driving on a suspended or revoked license pursuant to omnibus DWI, obstructing governmental operations, failureto appear and domestic battering in the third degree. McCoy was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail on writtenpromise.

Dakota Ryan Robinson of 1168 Hallack St., Pea Ridge, was arrested for failure to appear.

Thursday, July 29

Bobby Joe Durossette, 39, of 2331 Missouri Hwy. 90, Washburn, Mo., was arrested by Bentonville Police for failure to appear. He was later chargedwith two counts of contempt, a class C misdemeanor. Durossette was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail on a $5,500 bond.

Saturday, July 31

Deputies responded to a report of atheft at 22218 Slate Gap Rd.

6 a.m. One vehicle accident involving Christopher Alan Rice, 41, of 9401 E. McNelly Rd., whose body was found apparently involved in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Spanker Creek Road and Benton County 40. It appeared Rice was traveling east on Benton County 40 and failed to negotiate the turn onto Spanker Creek Road, hitting the east side of the guardrail installed along the bridge that spans Spanker Creek. Rice was not a licensed motorcycle rider, nor was he wearing

Sunday, Aug. 1

Kenneth E. Eckendorf, 58, of 15292 Battlefield Rd., Garfield, wasarrested in connection with possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance. Eckendorf was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Monday, Aug. 2

Jodie Lee Poll, 28, of 235 Frost St., Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance. Poll was being held Monday in the BentonCounty Jail with no bond set.

A two-vehicle accident near the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and Indian Creek Road, Gateway. One person was taken to a local hospital by the Air Evac Lifeteam.
