Free back-to-school haircuts offered
GARFIELD - Serendipity Salon in Garfield will offer free back-to-school haircuts for students kindergarten through 12th grade from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, on a first come, first served basis.

Granny’s Quilts of Love set fundraiser
The seventh annual Granny’s Quilts of Love auction and dinner fundraiser will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Pea Ridge High School.
Dinner will include lasagna, salad, corn, roll, dessert and drink. The auction will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Admission is $6 for adults, $2 children 12 andunder. Proceeds go to buy materials to make quilts for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Ridge Rockers to hold open house
The Pea Ridge Ridge Rockers will have an open house at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Pea RidgeElementary School cafeteria. There will be a free dinner and a short introduction to square dancing.
The public is invited and there is no age limit.
