Gladys June Cover

Gladys June Cover, 82, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, April 20, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 12, 1927, in Hiwasse, Ark., to James Russell Keith and Gladys Edwards Keith.

She and her husband, Oral, owned and operated Cover Family Shoe Store in Arkansas City, Kan., for 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Oral Cover, of the home; a son, David Cover, of San Ramon, Calif.; three daughters, Charlotte Cover of Seminole, Fla., Karen Kwarcinski and husband, Paul, of Pea Ridge, Stacey Pehosh and husband, Brett, of Bella Vista; a brother, John Keith, of Jay, Okla.; a sister, Carolyn Moore, of Beech Bottom, W.V.; and a granddaughter, Sarah Kwarcinski, of Pea Ridge.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Services were Friday, April 23, at First BaptistChurch in Pea Ridge with pastor Al Fowler, the Rev.

Leaon Griswold and the Rev. Stanley Cover officiating.

Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.

Alfred Cade Fuller

Alfred Cade Fuller, 55, died Oct. 3, 2009, after a lenghty illness. He was born Sept. 18, 1954, the youngest of three sons born to Fred James and Ruth Frances McGaraty Fuller in Eagle Pass, Texas.

He had lived in Pea Ridge as a child and graduated from Pea Ridge High School.

He worked in an automotive body shop prior to enlisting the in the miltary and served in Germany. After his discharge in Washington, he worked in the maintenance department of a major manufacturing company.

He moved to Llano, Texas to be near his immediate family.

Survivors include his two children, David Lesly Cade Fuller and Katherine Mary Fuller; two brothers, Bill E.

Hayes of Somerville and Fred. F. (Betty) Fuller of Llano; former wives, Kathy Goode of Rogers, Ark., and Diane Susan McKinnom;

and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, in the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church in Llano, Pittsburg Ave., conducted by Ervin Light.

Donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Arrangements were by Putnam Funeral Home and Creamtory, 145 Texas Avenue, Kingsland, TX 78639.

Johnny Elbert Mills

Johnny Elbert Mills, 64, of Garfield died Monday, April 19, at his home.

He was born May 1, 1945,in Garfield to Herbert and Clorene Reddick Mills.

He was a farmer and formerly worked for Moser Corp. and Wal-Mart. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Garfield. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on the farm and coon hunting.

Mills was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Stanphill Mills of the home; children, Dawnya Tharp of Bentonville, Melissa Chasteen and husband, Kelly, of Garfield, Johnny S. Mills and wife, Angie, of Garfield; foster son Scott Wise and wife, Lori, of Garfield; mother Clorene Mills of Garfield; brothers, Warren Mills of Louisiana, Larry Mills of Garfield and Tommy Mills of Bella Vista; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at Benton County Funeral Home.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, at First Baptist Church in Garfield, with pastor Jack Maddox officiating.

Interment followed at Walnut Hill Cemetery near Garfield.

Pallbearers were Johnny S. Mills, Scott Wise, Kelly Chasteen, Warren Mills, Tommy Mills and Larry Mills.

Honorary pallbearers were Earl Fine, Randy Snoderly and Brandon Chasteen.

Janice Overacker

Janice Overacker, 56, of Siloam Springs died Friday, April 23, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tenn. She was born Dec. 14, 1953, in Lindsay, Calif., to Evelyn E.

Parmley and Irving Emerson Overacker.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Adam Norman and wife, Sherri, of Pea Ridge and Shelby Garber and wife, Angela, of Rogers;

one daughter, Shawn Poole and husband, Glen, of Rogers; two sisters; 11grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Rocky Comfort Cemetery in Rocky Comfort, Tenn.

Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home in Bella Vista.

Thomas Rangen Jr.

Thomas Rangen Jr., 63, of Bentonville died Monday, April 19, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1947, at Devils Lake, N.D., to Thomas Rangen Sr. and Josephine Eide Rangen.

He was a long haul truck driver for Central States Manufacturing Co.

Survivors include Jason Rangen of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Scott Charleson of Minnesota, Evan Georgeson of Pennsylvania and Tammy Harris of Pea Ridge.

Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 25, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Services were at noon Monday, April 26, at the funeral home.

Burial followed at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery with military honors.
