PEA RIDGE — Wanda Roe attended the spring meeting of the Arkansas Humanities Council in Little Rock on April 9 and 10.

A variety of proposals related to the humanities were considered and 11 projects were funded.

Several mini-grants were also awarded.

Committee reports were made and financial records were reviewed.

The group had a catered dinner at the Old State House and toured the new exhibit based on the book “Arkansas Arkansaw.” Roe’s daughter Ramona joined the group for dinner.
