Seven senior girls selected as 2009 Homecoming maids

— Seven senior ladies from Pea Ridge High School were selected by the senior class to serve on the 2009 Homecoming Court. The are Haley Galyen, Katelynn Woodward, Noelle Littrell, Alex Galvan, Nichole Ryan, Ashley Peters and Katelin Denny. Haley Galyen, 17, is the daughter of Deann and J.R. Galyen. She has lived in Pea Ridge for five years and after graduation, plans to attend a university to study pre-pharmacy and apply to a school of pharmacy. She is the president of Pea Ridge High School Student Council as well as the senior class president. She is involved in varsity cheerleading, National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Galyen will be escorted by Dustin Phy.

Katelynn Woodward, 17, is the daughter of Wade and Sherry Woodward. She has lived in Pea Ridge all her life and after graduation, plans to attend Tulsa University and major in early childhood education. Her dream job, if she could be anything, however, would be a cosmetologist for a famous actress. She participates in varsity cheerleading, Pep Club, journalism and Family Career and Community Leaders of America and enjoys watching baseball, fishing and hanging out with her friends. Woodward will be escorted by Tyler Ramsey. Noelle Littrell, 17, is the daughter of Lori and Shannon Littrell. She has lived in Pea Ridge for nine years and after graduation would like to go to college and study studio art. Her dream job would be teaching art to high school students. She is involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, Pep Club and is captain of the cheerleading squad. She enjoys sketching, listening to music and hanging out with her family and friends.

Littrell will be escorted by Ethan Rhine. Alex Galvan, 17, is the daughter of Christie and Frank Galvan. She has lived in Pea Ridge for six years, and after graduation plans to go to college to be an archeologist, her dream job. She currently works at the Short Stop Grill in Garfield and plays Pea Ridge softball. She is the class secretary and a football manager. She also enjoys writing poetry and reading.

Galvan will be escorted by Rose Torres.

Nicole Ryan, 17, is the daughter of Sean and Jennifer Ryan. She has lived in Pea Ridge for two and a half years and after graduation, plans to either go to beauty school or to an art school in Houston, Texas. She currently works at Sonic in Pea Ridge. She is involved in yearbook and volleyball, and enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and playing video games. Ryan will be escorted by Kory Gann. Ashley Peters 17 is the daughter of Roxanne and Dan Peters. She has lived in Pea Ridge for 13 years and after graduation, plans to go to college at the University of Arkansas. She currently works at Arvest Bank but her dream job would be to become a medical researcher. She is involved in National Honor Society and Jobs for Arkansas Graduates and enjoys running, watching soccer, working and hanging out with friends.

Peters will be escorted by Javier Torres.

Katelin Denny, 17, is the daughter of Chelle Tillman and Alan Denny. She has lived Pea Ridge for nine years and after graduation, plans to attend college. Her dream job would be an audio producer. She participates in varsity cheerleading, Pep Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society, and enjoys listening to music and reading.

Denny will be escorted by Nathan Norris.
