— Jason McMahon

What position do you play? Defensive tackle and offensive tackle.

Which do you like more? Defensive, you get to hit more people.

Where are you from? Right here.

How many years have you played football in Pea Ridge? Six, I played two years of Pee Wee.

Do you have plans after high school? I want to be a cop. I have to go to college and get a degree, then go to training. I'll probably go to NWACC.

What do you do when you aren't playing football? Work on my truck, anything mechanic really.

Do you have family that played football? My brother played last year.

How does that affect you? Well, he's gone now so nobody says anything about him.

What's the hardest hit you have ever taken?

Colton Huet, he played two years ago. I was trying to catch a punt in the middle of the field. I couldn't breath and had to lay on the ground for a while.

What's the best advice you ever got from a coach? Never stop. That means never wait on the whistle, keep going the whole time. I go until I hear that whistle.

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why? I want to be the hulk. I like being strong.

What song would you pick to sing Karaoke? If I had to, probably "Toes" by the Zac Brown Band. I don't sing much...

You play Gravette on Friday, do you know the boy who just died? I didn't know him, I just knew of him. It's a sad thing. It's going to be a tough game, they're a good team - 3-0 - and they're going to be in the mindset to win for him. I hope we do good for him, too, don't want to disgrace him. It won't matter who wins, just as long as everybody plays the best they can.
