SILOAM SPRINGS — In the small schools boys division, Pea Ridge finished second behind Shiloh Christian Saturday at the annual Simmons Food Cross Country Meet in Siloam Springs. In the junior division, Pea Ridge Junior High boys finished second and the girls finished third in the small schools division

In the small schools boys division, Pea Ridge's Colby Schooley (19:21.50) and Colton Holtgrewe (19:24.42) finished seventh and eighth, respectively.

SPORTS BRIEF

The Flying Mule, a 5K run, will be held preceding the 21st annual Pea Ridge Mule Jump Saturday, Oct. 10.

Registration will begin at 6:45 a.m., with the race starting at 7:30 a.m. Entry fees will be $12 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under.

A 1-mile run will also beheld for kids 14 and under.

Awards will be given to the top three in each age division in the 5K. Large medals will be awarded to the top three in each age in the mile run, with small medals to all other finishers
