SELIGMAN, Mo. - The Seligman Chamber of Commerce will hold its community meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14. at the Seligman community building.
Special guest speakers will be Sherri Rhuems and Becky Baltz.
Rhuems is with Quality Assurance Coordinator Workforce Investment board for Southwest Missour. She will present information on Career Center services for both the job seeker and businesses.
Baltz is the district engineer for District 7 Missouri Department of Transportation, Joplin, Mo.

Fall Clean Up
The 2009 Pea Ridge Fall Clean Up will begin Tuesday, Sept. 15. Drop off hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. No curb side pickup will be provided; dumpsters will be located at the city property behind Village Hardware. Bring an ID and proof of residency. Square Dance lessons
The Ridge Rockers Square Dance Club will offer lessons to anyone, ages 8 to 80, interested in learning to square dance. Couples and singles are all welcome, and the first two lessons are FREE. Lessons will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15th, at the school cafeteria on North Davis Street.

GARFIELD - The 16th annual NEBCO Turkey Shoot will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the NEBCO fire station No. 1, U.S. Hwy. 62 and S. Wimpy Jones Road. In addition to the ever popular shotgun, poker and clay bird turkey shoots, there will be bingo, both silent and live auctions, an all-day long raffle with great prizes, the human bowling ball game, live music, plus games and prizes for the kids.
This year's lunch features ribs, pulled pork or chicken, with baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and drink. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Adults just $8, children under 10 just $5. A concession stand will also be open throughout the day with drinks, snacks and snow cones.
Once again, the NEBCO Turkey Shoot will feature their 6th annual "Rib Cookoff." Judging for the Rib Cook-off will be at noon, and shortly after that racks of ribs may be purchased directly from the various cooks.
