Agnes ‘Aggie’ Campbell

Agnes “Aggie” Campbell, 83, died Aug. 30, in Poteau, Okla. She was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Big Cedar, Okla., to Ernest and Bertie Fisher.

Aggie and her husband, Don, were residents of Pea Ridge for 28 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Erwin and Tommie Prince, both of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; two sons, Gar Smith of Rogers, Ark., and Robert Smith of Big Cedar, Okla., and numerous other relatives and loved ones.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 1, at New Home Cemetery in Big Cedar.

Arrangements were under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener, Okla.

Matthew Kieth Dague Jr.

Matthew Kieth Dague Jr., 28, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 1. He was born Dec. 31, 1980, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., to Matthew Dague and Traci Campbell Wickham.

At the age of 8, he moved with his family to the Rogers area. He attended junior college and for the last few years worked in construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Dague, Sr., and grandmothers, Judy Dague and Barbara Wickham.

Survivors include his mother, Traci Campbell of Garfield; a brother and sister-in-law, David Casares and Amy Casares of Bentonville, Ark.; a sister, Amanda Casares of Bentonville; his grandfather, David Wickham of Washburn, Mo.; three nephews, Daniel, Cruz and Cooper; and two nieces, Meegan Casares of Diamond, Mo., and Addyson of Bentonville.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers. BIRTHS

Wednesday, Sept. 30

A door glass was broken at Collier’s Drug Store in the early morning in an apparent attempt to gain entry. The incident is under investigation.

5 p.m. Two-vehicle motor-vehicle accident, Slack/ Weston streets, involving Neal Bechler, Pea Ridge, and Tina Shockly, Garfield.

Friday, Oct. 2

10 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, arrested Teresa Cow an, 30, Pea Ridge, on Benton County warrants.

Saturday, Oct. 3

9:29 a.m. Two-vehicle motor-vehicle accident West Pickens/Charles streets involving Megan Harris, 16, Bella Vista, and Stacy Trotter, 28, Pea Ridge. 2 p.m. A resident on Mary Phelps Drive reported that it appeared someone had been in a vacated house smoking marijuana. The owners or suspects were unable to be located. The incident is under investigation. 3:30 p.m. A resident on Charles Street reported harassment. VAS

9:25 p.m.Two-vehicle accident, Arkansas Highway 72/Dove Road, involving Amanda M. Martin driving a 2003 Hyundai Elentra, and James B. Smallwood, driving a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle. According to the report, Martin was eastbound and traveled into the westbound traffic lane while negotiating a left curve. Martin’s vehicle struck Smallwood on the motorcycle. Smallwood was transported to the hospital.The incident is still under investigation.

Abraham was cited for failure to maintain control. 4:15 p.m. One-vehicle motor-vehicle accident, Arkansas Highway 72 just west of Sugar Creek bridge, involving Jared Kennemer, 17, Grayson Kennemer, 15, and Wes Harper, 15, all of Pea Ridge. Bentonville Ambulance transported all three. Jared Kennemer and Wes Harper were treated then released. Grayson Kennemer was released Monday.
